Victory Motorcycles CORE concept bike to be at the 2009 Carole Nash NEC Bike Show
0 comments Posted by sebastian freey at 6:39 AM

Victory Motorcycles CORE concept bike will make its first European public appearance at the 2009 Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show.
Polaris Lead Industrial Designer Michael Song said “CORE is pure motorcycle. We wanted to strip everything that is not critical and build a motorcycle that borrows the production technologies we have incorporated into the Victory Vision. The frame and engine architecture of the Victory Vision was our inspiration however we wanted to make a statement beyond ‘custom’ and create something completely unique.”

Harley-Davidson and Buell no show at 2008 NEC Bike Show!
0 comments Posted by sebastian freey at 9:45 AMHarley-Davidson and Buell have announced today that they will not be exhibiting at the 2009 International Motorcycle and Scooter Show at the Birmingham NEC later this year. This comes after Honda advised it would not be exhibiting at the show earlier this year.
Well personally this is a great shame for all UK motorcyclists, three major motorcycle marques won't now be at the show. It makes you wonder who's next to pull out and quite bizarre when the show is run by the Motor Cycle Industry Assocation whom these maufacturers support!
It means we could be left only with the MCN London Motorcycle Show as the major national motorcycle show he way things are going!!!
Ride safe.
